Last Chance To Turn Around

when a door closes, it’s like a punch in the face everything was sudden stunned and speechless waiting for a turn around
trying to understand
waiting for a phone call
a message
praying it’ll come back
keeping an ear open
in case something’s changed
aren’t we always wrong to think more?
months have passed and we realised
acceptance follows
still be grateful
but forget the dreams that’s used to be aligned
a new door will be open
time to roll out of your bed
you have a choice to make
